Each shooter will be drilled in all aspects of weapons handling and combat shooting with an emphasis on safety and real world application. Students will engage targets out to 25 yards during low light conditions. Each shooter will get a chance to test their skills during low light conditions on the Ronin Combat Strategies combat pistol/rifle shooting standards. This course can be taken as pistol only or as a pistol/rifle combo.
During this course, once the lights are out they will not come back on. Students will learn to operate in a low light environment. A headlamp is strongly recommended.
Testimonial
"Never in my wildest imagination was I prepared for the energy level of the presentation by the tag team duo of Jason and Jabo. They completely got inside my OODA loop and stayed there. Even the typically boring first day morning admin stuff was good. I worked hard throughout the course to keep up, hanging on their every word, and the effort was most definitely worthwhile. They really and truly motivated me.
There is a distinct but often misunderstood difference in a "procedure" and a "technique". A procedure is a "You shall ..." sort of thing. A technique is a "You can..." concept. This nuance was not lost on these two instructors. I saw new but well grounded stuff, "techniques", with two guns I've been shooting for a long, long time. I saw things I thought I understood well enough to teach myself demonstrated in a manner totally outside my current level of expertise.
These two shooters, Jason and Jabo, will freely admit that they did not invent the bullet. Their program borrows heavily from the very best in the subject matter. Yet, their delivery of the course material is fresh, energetic, even forceful, and full of their own unique perspectives. You can go to shooting schools with big name recognition all over the country. Me, I'm glad the best kept secret in shooting courses is evolving right across that big ugly river, just 30 minutes away."
